Devin Shepard is the Founder and President of Supply Chain Acuity.  Through experience, leadership and creativity in supply chain management and consultative sales, Devin has developed innovative solutions to address supply chain challenges helping dozens of clients deliver hundreds of millions of dollars to top line revenue growth and bottom line cost savings.

Devin has lived and worked both in the U.S. and Europe, and managed projects globally to help clients in multiple industries modify their supply chains and manage global initiatives that streamline operations and achieve significant cost reductions.    He has been a guest speaker at major conferences and given a number of supply chain presentations to a multitude of companies both in the U.S. and Europe. 

Prior to founding Supply Chain Acuity in 2002, Devin worked as a consultant with A.T. Kearney, Inc. and Ernst & Young Consulting, assisting clients in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management, supply chain performance improvement, and knowledge management.

Devin started his career working for GE Healthcare, The Dow Chemical Company and International Paper.  He gained invaluable industry experience working for these leading companies, holding various positions of increasing responsibility from service marketing to production process engineering to research and development.

Devin received his Masters of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management, Marketing and Finance from The Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University.  While in graduate school, he was the Graduate Assistant to Dr. Donald Bowersox and co-authored a monograph entitled  Supply Chain Management: Differentiating Through Effective Logistics published by the Food Marketing Institute and contributed to the book “21st Century Logistics: Making Supply Chain Integration A Reality” published by Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.  He also wrote a white paper entitled "Collaborative Demand and Supply Planning Between Partners: Best Practices for Effective Planning" in 2012.    Devin earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University. 

Devin’s continuing education efforts include attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Supply Chain Executive Program and regularly participating at the University of Tennessee Supply Chain Forum. Devin is a certified IQF Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, CPIM, CSCP, and a member of various organizations including CSCMP and APICS.
